William Stetson

I am a London-based index and benchmark specialist with more than a decade of experience designing, governing, and implementing some of the world’s most widely used equity indices.

I was born in Florida, and grew up on the west coast of the United States, where I enjoyed the great outdoors.
 

After attending college at Washington State University and a masters program at Gonzaga University, 

I went to work in Seattle, Washington at Russell Investments on the Index side of the shop (later FTSE Russell).

 

In 2019, I had the opportunity to relocate to London, and I have lived there ever since, taking advantage of not only the chance to further my career, but to travel Europe as well greatly enjoying places such as Edinburgh, Rome, Geneva, and Chamonix.
 

Some of my favorite activities are hiking, camping, and fishing.
